  Bus duct refers to a system composed of metal plates(steel plates or aluminum plates)as protective shells,conductive bars,insulation materials,and related accessories,used to transmit electrical energy.As a steel structure support for the bus duct,due to its large span,high height,and complex structure,if the application location is in a high seismic intensity zone with frequent earthquakes,the design size of the steel structure support must not only consider the use of steel structure support in general working conditions,but also fully and reasonably consider the seismic effect.Only in this way can the quality of the building and the safety of people's lives and property be guaranteed.

  Bus ducts are products that collect and distribute electricity,serving as the main conductors for transmitting electrical energy in power stations or substations.They transport the electrical energy output by generators,transformers,or rectifiers to various users or other substations.Compared with traditional cables,it has great advantages in high current transmission.Accurately evaluate the structure objectively and conduct modal analysis as the first step in conducting dynamic special studies such as seismic analysis.Modal analysis is mainly used to determine the vibration characteristics of a structure,namely its natural frequency and mode shape,which are important parameters in the design of structures subjected to dynamic loads.The important signals obtained through modal analysis provide reference for further seismic response spectrum analysis.

  When the bus duct operates for a long time,the joint temperature rise should be checked regularly once a year.The joint temperature rise should not exceed 70K according to the specifications to be qualified(the ambient temperature is 40 degrees).Check if there are any signs of looseness in the connection bolts and contact areas of all bus duct joints.Avoid causing the connector to generate heat due to increased resistance caused by looseness.Check if there are signs of aging in the insulation material and if there are signs of melting and deformation in the conductive area.If there is a phenomenon of phase to phase grounding or insulation breakdown,it should be removed in sections and checked in sections with a voltage tester to find the problem,or the bus duct should be replaced from scratch,or insulation coating should be carried out from scratch.Check if the plug box pins of the bus duct system can touch the busbar.

  During the operation of the bus duct,it is necessary to continuously check whether there are any leaks,water sprays,potential sources of moisture around the entire system,whether there are any organisms that pose a threat to the system,and whether there are any heat sources that affect the temperature rise of the bus duct system.Check whether there are foreign objects entering the interior of the bus duct,whether the system components are damaged or corroded,and whether the support springs have appropriate elasticity.If any problems are found,replace them immediately.
