  The connection between the enclosed bus duct and the low-voltage terminal of the oil immersed power transformer should use a flexible connection method,which means that a metal wire braided flexible conductor or other type of flexible conductor transition connection should be used between the two.It is not necessary to use this connection method when connecting with dry-type transformers.If the enclosed bus duct is rigidly connected to the low-voltage terminal of the oil immersed power transformer,it will make the low-voltage terminal unable to resist the expansion stress of the enclosed bus duct,causing oil leakage in the bushing and affecting the normal operation of the transformer.

  When installing the enclosed bus duct horizontally,the plug-in box is integrated with the enclosed bus duct,and its installation position is relatively high,which is not convenient for future operation and maintenance.So there is no switch installed in the plug-in box,only connecting conductors and cables are installed,and the power supply is introduced into the nearby wall mounted power box.When designing and selecting,the selected model should undergo dynamic and thermal stability verification based on the short-circuit current value of the system and the parameters on the sample.The enclosed bus duct is not suitable for Class A or Class B fire and explosion prevention places,mainly because the connection methods of the various connection parts of the enclosed bus duct cannot meet the explosion prevention requirements.

  The cost of using enclosed bus ducts is relatively high,and it is not yet reasonable to use them in situations where certain loads are concentrated or separate power supply equipment is required,considering the economic feasibility of engineering construction.In addition,the installation technology requirements for enclosed bus ducts are relatively high,and the installation cost is naturally high.Therefore,before deciding whether to choose enclosed bus duct,it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive economic and technical comparison between the enclosed bus duct scheme and other schemes.Enclosed bus ducts are basically maintenance free lines,but if they are located in damp or corrosive gas environments,such as coastal areas,textile enterprises,etc.,comprehensive anti-corrosion coating and maintenance are required every one to two years.
