Plug in busbar trunking belongs to the trunk system,which has the advantages of small volume,compact structure,reliable operation,high transmission current,easy tapping and feeding,convenient maintenance,low energy consumption,and good dynamic and thermal stability.It is widely used in high-rise buildings.In the past,the casing of bus ducts was generally formed by bending steel plates or using simple aluminum alloy profiles.Due to the lack of certain waterproof measures for these two types of casings,water is easily immersed in the bus ducts during fire extinguishing or when they are exposed to rain,causing short circuits and resulting in generally low waterproof levels of the entire product,and product quality cannot be guaranteed.
After the busbar arrives at the site,the appearance of the busbar should be checked first.The surface of the busbar should be smooth and flat,without cracks,wrinkles,deformations,or twists;The bolts and fasteners used for installing the busbar are all galvanized products,with complete factory certificates and relevant busbar product information.Before making the busbar,place it on a flat thick steel plate,straighten and straighten the busbar,and use sandpaper to flatten the cross-section of the cut busbar.The overlap size of the bus duct joint shall be made by drilling holes with a drill according to the regulations.When bending the busbar trunking,first make a large sample,and then cold bend according to the size of the large sample.There should be no cracks or significant wrinkles at the busbar bending point.The distance between the busbar bending point and the connection point should not be less than 50mm.The bending degree of multiple busbars should be consistent,and the small bending radius should comply with the specifications.
After the busbar is processed,it should be painted with phase paint,but phase paint should not be painted in the following areas:bolt connections and support connections of the busbar,connections between the busbar and electrical appliances,and areas within 10mm of all connections.Polish the busbar joint with sandpaper,remove the oxide layer,tin it,apply electrical composite grease,and protect it for installation.The function of connectors in bus duct accessories is only to connect sections of bus ducts(including straight sections and bends)into a whole,just a joint.Because a busbar circuit is usually tens or hundreds of meters long,and the production of busbars can only be done in sections,with a length of only 6 meters per section,it is necessary to transport them to the site and connect each section with connectors.
The principle for setting the connector at the wall penetration point of the connector in the busbar duct accessory is that the connector should not be set inside the wall,because if it is inside the wall,it cannot be repaired in the future,and the high humidity will cause the conductor at the connector to oxidize too quickly,the insulation to age quickly,and even short circuit accidents to occur.As for the situation where the bus duct connector needs to pass through two walls continuously after turning,if the distance between the two walls is more than 500mm and the environment is not too humid,the connector can be set between the two walls.If the distance between the two walls is very close,the connector needs to be set after the bus passes through the two walls,that is,if the bend is longer in sections,the connector should be avoided from the wall.
