Bus duct is a closed metal device composed of copper and aluminum bus columns, used to distribute large power to various components of a distributed system. In indoor low-voltage power transmission mainline projects, wires and cables have been increasingly replaced.Bus ducts have been developed in foreign countries and have become popular in Hong Kong,Macau, and other places in China. In Guangzhou,Guangdong Province,China, more than 90%of the main lines leading from the power distribution rooms of buildings with 12 floors or more to each floor use bus ducts;Bus ducts should be used from the 630KVA transformer to the distribution cabinet.
Bus ducts are a new type of conductor formed by using copper or aluminum as conductors, supporting them with non vinyl insulation, and then installing them into metal ducts. The actual application in Japan was in 1954,and since then, busbar trunking has been developed.Nowadays,it has become an indispensable wiring method for electrical equipment and power systems in high-rise buildings, factories, etc.Due to the increasing demand for electricity in various buildings such as buildings and factories, using the original circuit wiring method, namely the conduit method, brings many difficulties during construction. Moreover, when changing the distribution system,it is almost impossible to make it simpler. However,if bus ducts are used,it is very easy to achieve the goal, and it can also make the building more beautiful.
From an economic perspective, bus ducts themselves are more expensive compared to cables, but compared to various accessories for wiring and the entire power system, using bus ducts can make construction costs much cheaper, especially when the current capacity is large. This situation is even more evident. With the emergence of modern engineering facilities and equipment, the electricity consumption of various industries has increased rapidly, especially with the emergence of numerous high-rise buildings and large factory workshops.Traditional cables,as transmission lines, can no longer meet the requirements in high current transmission systems. The parallel use of multiple cables has brought many inconveniences to on-site installation and construction connections. The characteristics of busbar trunking are a series of matching, commercial production, small size, large capacity, short design and construction period, easy assembly and disassembly, non combustible, safe and reliable, and long service life.
Bus duct products are suitable for three-phase four wire and three-phase five wire power supply and distribution system engineering with AC 50Hz,rated voltage 380V,and rated current 250A-6300A.As a new type of distribution wire,plug-in bus duct has emerged.Compared with traditional cables,it fully demonstrates its superiority in high current transmission. At the same time, due to the use of new technologies and processes, the contact resistance and temperature rise at the connection points of the two ends of the bus duct and the junction of the distribution port are greatly reduced.High quality insulation materials are also used in the bus duct, thereby improving the safety and reliability of the bus duct and making the entire system more complete.
