  The production process of bus ducts is outdated,almost all of which are manually operated,and there are many human factors that make it difficult to effectively control the quality.When ordering bus ducts,the construction unit should conduct a thorough and detailed investigation of the production scale,technical strength,worker quality,and production environment of the bus duct manufacturer,especially the production environment.Because if insulation treatment is carried out in an unclean space,there may be some conductive particles in the insulation layer,which is not relevant during the initial operation,but over time it can cause insulation damage.In addition,some manufacturers use the brand name of their new product"five core bus duct"to mislead users.The so-called"five core bus duct"refers to the installation of PE wires inside the shell,which is not only expensive and inconvenient to use,but also not allowed by regulations.Because the PE wire must have reliable grounding continuity and not have too many joints,the PE wire of the five core bus duct must be connected section by section.As long as one joint is disconnected,the PE wire may be charged,and the equipment casing connected to it may also be charged,and its danger can be easily understood.

  Bus ducts have poor resistance to moisture and corrosion,and require high installation and installation conditions,resulting in a large amount of maintenance work.During transportation and storage,the insulation layer of the bus duct will become damp and deteriorate,and the copper bars will oxidize and corrode,especially the copper bars at the connection heads,which are more prone to oxidation and corrosion,resulting in a decrease in electrical performance.Therefore,the bus duct must be maintained and serviced before installation;During the operation of the bus duct,it is hot and cold,and the insulation layer releases moisture when it is hot.When it cools down,it absorbs moisture,which can lead to a decrease in insulation quality;The joint will loosen and oxidize when it is hot or cold,causing the contact resistance to increase and the joint to heat up.These facts are sufficient to demonstrate that bus ducts must be regularly maintained and serviced.

  Bus ducts that have been used for a long time should be repaired and inspected at least once a year.Before maintenance,use a multimeter to measure the conductive bars of the bus duct and confirm that the bus duct is not electrified.Mainly check whether there is any looseness in the contact of all fasteners and conductive parts;Check whether the insulation material has aged or deteriorated,and whether the conductive parts have melted or deteriorated;Check for any foreign objects entering the bus duct and for any water leakage.The contact or joint parts of the busbar duct are prone to heating during use,or insufficient consideration of the busbar's current carrying capacity can also cause the busbar duct to heat up.Therefore,when selecting the capacity of the busbar trunking in specific engineering design,it is necessary to fully calculate the actual electrical load of the building,take into account the influence of the surrounding environmental temperature,and leave a margin.Problems should be promptly addressed without leaving any hidden dangers.If insulation breakdown is found,the bus duct should be dismantled in sections or inspected in sections with a voltage tester to identify the fault point,replace with a new bus duct,or re wrap.
