  The connection between the enclosed bus duct and the low voltage terminal of the oil immersed power transformer should use a flexible connection method,and a metal wire braided flexible conductor or other type of flexible conductor transition connection should be used between the two.This connection method is not necessary for the connection with the dry-type transformer.If the enclosed bus duct is rigidly connected to the low-voltage terminal of the oil immersed power transformer,it will make the low-voltage terminal unable to resist the expansion stress of the enclosed bus duct,causing oil leakage in the bushing and affecting the normal operation of the transformer.Before deciding to choose a closed bus duct,it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive economic and technical comparison between the closed bus duct scheme and other schemes.

  Enclosed bus ducts are basically maintenance free lines,but if they are located in damp or corrosive gas environments,such as coastal areas,textile enterprises,etc.,comprehensive anti-corrosion coating and maintenance are required every one to two years.A closed bus duct is composed of one or more insulated wire cores,as well as their respective possible cladding layers,total protective layer,and outer protective layer.The busbar can also have additional uninsulated conductors,and the quality of the busbar head must strictly comply with the specified requirements;Strengthen the monitoring of busbar operation to avoid overload operation of the busbar;Regularly conduct busbar testing and promptly handle any abnormalities found.

  The busbar trench should be kept dry to prevent the busbar from getting damp,causing insulation degradation and short circuits;Regularly clean the accumulated dust on the busbar to prevent spontaneous combustion of the accumulated dust and cable fires;Strengthen the regular calibration and maintenance of busbar circuit switches and protections to ensure their reliable operation;When laying the enclosed busbar duct,it is necessary to maintain sufficient distance from the hot pipeline and control the busbar to be no less than 0.5 meters;The power busbar shall not be less than 1 meter,and the control busbar and the power busbar shall be arranged in separate slots,layers,and separated,without overlapping between layers.
