A bus duct composed of copper and aluminum busbars used to distribute high power to dispersed system components.Power lines are increasingly being replaced by power lines in indoor low-voltage transmission lines.Nowadays, the power system has become an indispensable arrangement in electrical equipment such as high-rise buildings and factories.Due to the increasing demand for electricity in buildings, factories, and other structures, this demand has been on the rise year by year.Adopting the original circuit connection method not only wears out pipes, but also brings many difficulties to construction. Moreover, when changing the power distribution system,it is almost impossible to make it easier. But if it is a bus duct,it is easy to achieve the goal and can also make the building more beautiful.
Economically speaking, compared to cables, bus ducts themselves are more expensive, but compared to various accessories and wiring in the entire power system, using bus ducts can make building costs cheaper, especially in situations with high flow rates.Bus ducts are used in various applications, including complex industrial equipment, data centers,offices,high-rise buildings, and many other types of facilities.Generally speaking, there are two main types of busbar trunking installations:horizontal and vertical.Horizontal bus ducts are commonly used in industrial settings to supply power to heavy equipment, lighting, and air conditioning.Vertical bus duct, also known as bus duct riser, can be economically installed in high-rise buildings for distributing lighting and air conditioning loads. If the busbar of the double busbar connection fails, attention should be paid to the operation mode of the busbar protection during the fault handling process, and if necessary, the busbar protection should be temporarily stopped.
After the bus voltage disappears completely, the dispatcher shall immediately pull off the switches(including buscouple switches)that may come in and notify the operating column to conduct external inspection on the bus.Due to a fault in the bus duct, the voltage disappears and there are significant signs of short circuit(such as flames,explosions,smoke,etc.).Operators of the control team are not allowed to resume operation on their own and should conduct specific inspections of the bus equipment. If the components connected to the busbar fail or the bypass switch refuses to operate, causing the busbar to lose voltage,a specific inspection should be carried out.Immediately isolate the faulty components in the busbar slot or open the knife switches on both sides of the faulty bypass switch, quickly restore the operation of the busbar, and send out other branches.A bus duct is a long iron box for storing cables, with a lid covering it to enclose distribution cables(the cables for the main power supply may not necessarily be copper bars, and copper bars are not allowed to be enclosed).
Because the busbar is often very long, the iron box is actually connected in many sections. The joint ends of each section of the iron box need to be connected to each other with soft wires(usually soft copper strips),and then well grounded at the end to ensure that leakage does not harm the human body.Compared with traditional cables, busbar trunking fully demonstrates its superiority in high current transmission. At the same time, due to the use of new technologies and processes, busbar trunking greatly reduces the contact resistance and temperature rise at the connection points of both ends and the junction of the distribution port.High quality insulation materials are also used in the busbar trunking, thereby improving the safety and reliability of the busbar trunking and making the entire system more complete. The characteristics of busbar trunking are a series of matching, commercial production, small size, large capacity, short design and construction period, easy assembly and disassembly, non combustible, safe and reliable, and long service life.
